X5 Retail Group’s IFRS net profit jumps by 86% in Jul–Sep
MOSCOW, Oct 25 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s X5 Retail Group that unites the Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, and Chizhik retail chains jumped by 85.9% on the year to 25.737 billion rubles in July–September, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Revenue gained 22.9% to 796.236 billion rubles, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 22.1% to 94.04 billion rubles.
In January–September, X5 Retail Group’s net profit expanded by 43.2% to 61.74 billion rubles. Revenue grew by 19.2% to 2.265 trillion rubles, and EBITDA by 8.4% to 256.677 billion rubles.
